Successful cooperation between parents and staff is important because it has an effect on your child's development. This is why we encourage a culture of cooperation and continuous exchange
between parents and staff.
Our current initiatives
Parents are invited to contribute to their child's Learning Journey. Learning Journey's are always accessible on the tables at the back of the room alongside information about different ways of
supporting you child at home, e.g. toilet training, how to support your child when learning to write when they are left handed.
Staff hold regular meetings with parents to discuss their child’s progress, and are happy to discuss children’s individual development with parents at any time.
We hold termly ‘Stay and Play’ sessions.
We hold special events for parents and families, including coffee mornings, performances, and an annual sponsored walk.
We produce a half-termly newsletter to keep parents informed of our planned topics, and provide ideas to support learning at home.
We have a system available for all children, this involves story sacks, den kits and a reading box providing fun activities and stories to share at home.
We welcome parents as volunteers at playgroup. Please speak to Jacqui Blayze for further information.
We have a closed Facebook page for parents to join. Parents are free to ask for advice, questions or for reminders on this page. Reminders or general information is regularly placed on this page
